I am unbelievably excited to be joining the ranks of SANSARA for this very special world premiere project at the Aldeburgh Festival 2026. It will be the first of a few projects I’m undertaking in the UK across 2026. I’m very grateful that the stars have aligned for this one.

SANSARA + TANGRAM

We’re collaborating with artist collective Tangram to present our first large scale co-commission from composers Alex Ho and Rockey Sun Keting.

With text from renowned author Yilin Wang, Chronicle 时•录 is a multimedia choral-theatre piece, based on the words of Chinese female poets across 1000 years of history.

This ambitious new work explores the importance of translation – of ideas, language, and emotion – as a vital part of connection and cultural communication in our world.

Chronicle will be premiered at the 2026 Aldeburgh Festival with additional dates to be announced.

A brand new multi-media work from the exceptional choir SANSARA.

Trailblazing artist collective Tangram is creating a new work for the brilliantly gifted SANSARA choir.
